Postgraduate Courses

Postgraduate programs across disciplines are designed to offer a structured, in-depth, and interdisciplinary understanding of the subject, integrating core principles, practical applications, and connections to related fields. These programs foster a critical awareness of emerging trends and advancements, equipping students with the skills to engage with contemporary developments in their domain. By mastering analytical and research methodologies, students gain the ability to conduct independent inquiry, apply their knowledge effectively, and contribute meaningfully to their field.

The postgraduate (PG) curriculum follows the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS) model, emphasizing theoretical depth, analytical and critical thinking, research and innovation, interdisciplinary perspectives, and effective communication. It also nurtures career development, teamwork, interpersonal skills, leadership qualities, and, most importantly, a strong sense of social and national responsibility.

The PG program comprises core papers (4 credits each), Core/laboratory papers (4 credits each), Skill Enhancement Course (SEC) papers (2 credits each), and specialization papers (5 credits each), along with a dissertation/project worth 6 credits. To be eligible for a postgraduate degree, students must earn a total of 84 credits.
